Working model of the American Fishing Schooner "Columbia". A copper plate attached to the base shows the model was built by Thomas Hornsby of Cheltenham PA.
The varnished hull was fitted with a lead keel. Rigged with standing and running cords. The deck carries a skylight and hatches. This is a fine old model by an accomplished builder. Circa 1940.
