Photo of the New York Yacht Club flagship "Caritas". Caritas was built in 1922 for sugar magnate J. Percy Bartram. She was built by George Lawley and Sons in Neponset, Mass., after being designed by the naval architecture firm Cox & Stevens of New York. Her owner was once Commodore of the New York Yacht Club. The image shows Caritas cruising through calm waters. Matted and framed. Caritas is still afloat, now sailing under the name Lynie Jane, homeported in Portland, Oregon.
