We are pleased to offer this beautiful Antique English Chippendale Tilt-top breakfast / parlor table, from the 1890s.
This table is made of Mahogany wood, featuring a rectangular tilt-top that folds vertically to save space, rounded edges and a central pivot mechanism tor tilting.
Central turned pedestal column with classic baluster shaping, the pedestal is supported by a strecher connecting two splayed bases providing stability.
Supported by 4 sturdy legs ending with claw feet.
The table uses a wooden spider bracket system with a pivoting metal latch and wooden supports that secure the top when in the open position.
Completely restored ( refinished hand French polish), very sturdy and in very good condition.
