A pair of important 17th-century Caryatids in carved wood with a dark patina, originally from a choir, used as dividers between the stalls. The two figures are asexual, with long hair and hold an Ionic capital on their heads. Both torsos employ an original solution to compensate for the lack of arms by inserting two volutes on the shoulders, two curls pointing toward the pectorals. Beneath the relaxed abdomens, drapery on one and volutes on the other connect the figures to the carved pilaster. In the middle, two different fruit compositions are carved in high relief.
The caryatids have undergone previous restorations with minimal additions and consolidations, but are essentially in good condition.
