The piece features a first patina, with a beautiful, warm, natural tone that testifies to its authenticity and historical preservation.

A rare feature of this piece is the top composed of a single solid walnut panel, a prized and uncommon feature even in contemporary furniture. The sides and lower shelf are supported by four turned columns, embellished with finely crafted Empire-style mercury-gilt bronze capitals.

The piece has not undergone any invasive work: no recent restoration has been carried out. It shows minor signs of aging consistent with its age, which enhance its charm and authenticity. The structure is solid and stable, ready for use or display in classical or eclectic settings.
