This elegant hand-painted porcelain footed pitcher/vase was made by renowned Delft manufacturer De Porceleyne Fles, also known as Royal Delft. … Read more This elegant hand-painted porcelain footed pitcher/vase was made by renowned Delft manufacturer De Porceleyne Fles, also known as Royal Delft. The piece is decorated in chinoiserie-influenced motifs utilizing the classic Delft blue and white palette and features a disc-shaped body. One side is painted with a leafy shrub bearing large flowers while the other side is finished with a delicate floral spray. The rounded sides are also decorated with flowers and foliage. The piece has a large arched handle to one side with hand-painted accents. The neck is encircled with a series of rounded vertical shapes resembling lotus petals topped by a series of closely spaced crescent shapes.

The pitcher/vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is very light crazing barely visible. I tried to capture in photo.
The piece stands 11.25" tall and the mouth is 2.75" by 2.25" . The body measures 6.5" across its widest part and is 3" at its deepest. The foot is 3.75" from side to side.

This Royal Delft pitcher/vase displays beautifully and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of Delft ceramics or works equally well showcased on its own. See less
