A fired clay, enameled, and hand decorated brass door 'cooler' or ice cabinet stand. Rather than for kitchen use this would have resided in a parlor or dining room. Meant to be seen by guests not strictly utilitarian. Stands just over two feet high. Inside clay shelf is removable. Painted decoration shows fading and age. Feet show small nicks to the enamel coating. No other damage at all. No cracks or missing pieces. Brass door is removeable. Very functional as a side table, plant stand, etc.

For anyone who appreciates the rare and the unique. Overall measurements are 26H x 16W x 13.5D. Weight approximately 40lbs. It's not often we debate keeping a piece we've found, but there has been some over this one! See less
