~ Beautiful antique cedar-lined hope chest made by the Ed Roos Company of Forest Park, Illinois ~ one of the most prominent cedar chest manufacturers of the early 20th century. This piece combines storage with statement-worthy design.
~ Features:
• Solid wood construction with a warm, rich finish
• Detailed carved accents including twisted columns and claw feet
• Central panel with classic gilded and painted urn motif
• Metal escutcheons and carved raised back rail
• Fully cedar-lined interior with original paper labels and functioning tray
• Produced by the Ed Roos Company (1916–1955), once the largest chest manufacturer in the world
