This captivating pair of art glass paperweights by Seattle’s Glass Eye Studio hails from their sought-after Celestial Series. Featured are Halley’s Comet, with a radiant cobalt core and shimmering comet trail, and Neptune, swirling with deep blue hues and flecks of dichroic glass that echo the distant planet's mystique.
Each piece is handmade by a team of 2–3 artists, using specialty colors, precious metals, glow material, and dichroic glass to evoke a cosmic essence. No two are exactly alike, ensuring each paperweight is a one-of-a-kind stellar creation. Note that these two designs are no longer in production and therefore are increasingly difficult to find.
Both are etched with "GES" for Glass Eye Studio on the underside along with their respective titles and production years. Includes one gold tone display stand.
