He attended the Bezalel … Read more Born in Bulgaria in 1935, Arie Tsarfaty emigrated to Israel still a child shortly after WWII. He attended the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem specializing in illustration. Since the late 1980’s he has concentrated on abstract painting, leaving behind the formula illustration style in which he was trained. Critics have called his work "transcendent". See less
