A beautiful and extremely well made antique brass and glass table / desk lamp. This was converted at some point from an oil burning lamp to an electric lamp, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It is of extremely fine quality, the design is beautiful. There is a milk glass shade that sits in the frame, the shade and the gas burner section which is now fitted with a bayonet bulb fitting, can both be raised and lowered.
This is in great overall condition with a fine patina and no damage, it is in good working order.
