This vintage Sputnik chandelier in Stilnovo style is a great example of Italian mid-century design from the 1950s and 60s. Made of brass and black metal, the lamp features a distinctive and timeless shape.
The design consists of a central black disc from which eight slim brass arms radiate outward – a clear nod to the iconic Sputnik silhouette. At the end of each arm is a stylish diabolo-shaped black metal shade, with light points on both the top and bottom. This creates a beautiful diffused upward light and a more focused, atmospheric light downward.
