Lacquered and gilded mantelpiece mirror with a worn and partially opaque mirror (dimensions 71.5 x 69.5 cm): two fluted Doric pilasters support an imposing entablature surmounted by a cornice consisting of two volutes joined by a carved floral garland.
The mirror's internal frame is carved with leaf motifs. The mantelpiece is gilded in fine gold and lacquered in ivory. Lombardy, first half of the 19th century, in good condition.
