it was manufactured by the viennese bronze foundry melzer & neuhardt.

solid cast bronze; silk shade. Renewed electrification.

it was exhibited in the pavilion designed by josef hoffmann.
apparently, prutscher was awarded a gold medal for the design – he recorded this in his cv, and it is also mentioned in a congratulatory letter from the vienna arts and crafts association dated november 6, 1925.
