Rare, signed original watercolor on paper, framed in matte. Painted by Sandor Bernath, one of the best watercolorists of the 20th century in the United States. Magnificent working fishing schooner going out to sea with scenic seascape background. Signed in the lower right corner.
Only one owner, my late Grandmother. This piece hung in her estate in Saddle River, New Jersey circa 1950s. We believe it was painted in the 1940's-50's.
