Charming set of three hand painted wooden candle holders depicting folkloric style ladies in colorful costumes. The bright colors include yellow, pink, orange, peacock blue, baby blue, fuchsia, purple and red. They are suitable for standard sized tapers and are functional for real use or simply enjoy as decoration. There is no maker's mark though they appear to be 1960's Scandinavian in style.
Good to fair condition with signs of age and use. All three candle holders are sturdy and sound. Each one has some paint loss and/or flaws to the painted surfaces with the purple candle holder showing the most wear. Please see photographs 13 and 14 for marked indicators of the flaws.
Each candle holder measures 4.5" tall x 2.5" wide and deep at the base.
