HERMES EQUATEUR pink silk scarf from 2019
It depicts all the wildlife of the equatorial forests. In the center is the majestic jaguar, surrounded by other magnificent animals: parrots, multicolored birds, monkeys, ocelots, pumas, and more.
The tropical vegetation is lush and dense.
Note a small stain in the corner (see photo).

Robert Dallet, a self-taught artist and passionate naturalist, has dedicated his career to illustrating wildlife with striking realism. He has collaborated with Hermès to create several iconic scarves, including Équateur.
His work highlights the richness of the world's ecosystems, and his attention to detail transforms each silk square into a true work of art. Their fauna and flora could not fail to fascinate and inspire Robert Dallet, who was above all a passionate naturalist.
