Located on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, the luxury Hotel Ruhl opened its doors in 1913 by Henry Ruhl, who also built the Carlton Hotel in Cannes. Designed by artchitect, Charles Dalmas, the Hotel Ruhl boasted opulent neoclassical and baroque decor. Famous guests included F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and more! Sadly, the hotel closed its doors in 1970.
