The … Read more This distinctive table lamp from around 1890 combines colorful, hand-painted glass with elaborate cast brass in the Historicist style. The bulbous body of glossy turquoise-blue glass is adorned with floral motifs in vibrant colors and gilded contours – a fine example of decorative stained glass from the late 19th century.

Particular attention is drawn to the solid cast brass base, which rests on four finely modeled lion paws. The upper end and the electrical connection are also made of brass.
