The round table top is inlaid with leduc's iconic garrigue botanical tiles, each impressed with delicate foliage forms — leaves, branches, and ferns — captured in warm, earthy tones of ochre, sienna, and umber. The central square motif is cleverly echoed by the surrounding tile arrangement, creating a harmonious and visually satisfying design. The set includes four matching cylindrical stools, each featuring coordinated botanical tile work on the seat and crafted in rich brown ceramic with hand-cut side openings for ease of movement. The stools tuck neatly around the table, making this set as space-efficient as it is charming. Leduc's work is celebrated for merging the rustic beauty of provençal flora with modernist form, and this ensemble exemplifies his genius in functional ceramic art. A collector’s piece that would make a statement in any living room, library, or creative space. It is in good overall condition with some vintage nicks, marks and blemishes, particularly in the wood portions of the table at the edge and base. This is similarly true for the stools. Signed on the table and each stool. About the artist : raymonde leduc is famous for using the plants of provence's garrigue to inlay the decoration in his ceramic pieces. Leduc was a student of the master ceramicist from vallauris, france, roger capron. Capron's creations contributed to a veritable renaissance of pottery and ceramics in that era and he left behind a considerable body of internationally acclaimed works which is collected worldwide.
