In Aries, the ram is reimagined with sinuous linework and whimsical proportions, positioning the animal against a dreamlike landscape rendered in delicate tones of blue, taupe, and ivory. Subtle surreal elements — the tree sprouting through the ram; the barren landscape — evoke Dalí’s fascination with the subconscious and the metaphysical.

Hand-signed in pencil in the lower right and numbered 133/275 in the lower left, this limited edition etching is a rare and collectible work of art. This particular piece was acquired from an antique store and is accompanied by an original gallery label from Robert Sills Gallery Inc., a well known art gallery that operated in North Hollywood in the 1960's-'80s. The gallery label includes a hand written register number.
