Early 19th century Directoire office chair in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer.
Its backrest is curved at the top and its armrests are upholstered with cross-shaped armrests.
The backrest, armrests, and seat have been entirely remade in the traditional style with straps, springs, and animal hair, and upholstered in a bright yellow fabric decorated with star-shaped flowers surrounded by antique nails.
It rests on two curved front legs and two saber-shaped rear legs.
Period: Early 19th century
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, and a waxed patina in our workshop.
