Presenting a magnificent, mid-century abstract modern silver "Flying Fire" sculpture rarely seen. It came from a $2,000,000 Key Biscayne Miami luxury condo and sat on a 2 tone grey and black marble pedestal for over 15 years. It is a statement piece that stood in front of a large floor to ceiling window.
Circa late 1960's. Highly reminiscent of modern abstract sculptures by Rene Brancusi. This sculpture was sold in variations of gold, dark bronze or silver with either a marble base or shiny black composite base, that resembles a black piano finish. We believe there are genuine silver flakes in the composition. This piece is large in stature at 28" high and commands attention. It is bold, imposing and intriguing. You can't take your eyes off of it. It has a magical quality. The flying fire or abstract flames ebb and flow in the air. Entrenched in duality; strong yet graceful.
