A beautifully crafted Inca ottoman designed by Arne Norell, circa 1960s. This piece is part of Norell’s celebrated Inca series—renowned for its fusion of Scandinavian craftsmanship and safari-style design, and a favorite of decorators around the world.
Handmade in Småland, Sweden, the ottoman features a solid turned beechwood frame and under-seat support crafted from Tärnsjö vegetable-tanned leather, secured with original straps and buckles. True to Norell’s vision, every detail reflects the designer’s original drawings and enduring commitment to quality.
This piece has been thoughtfully updated with brand new upholstery in Schumacher’s "Chiang Mai Dragon"—a vibrant, 100% linen fabric that brings new life and personality to the piece while preserving its sculptural silhouette and design integrity.
Originally designed as a companion to the Inca lounge chair, this ottoman stands beautifully on its own. It makes a striking accent in modern, bohemian, or mid-century interiors—merging collectible heritage with playful contemporary flair.
