On the Design:

Both rugs enjoy identical geometric patterns with a marriage of mid-century modern and Art Deco sensibilities—a particularly eclectic design which admirers of the craft will recognize among Müren’s hallmarks that distinguish his fabulous works. Their colorway is a play of ochre gold and black hues, both rich and sample, with a positive-negative sense of movement in their particular repetition and use of minimalist dimensionality. Keen eyes for detail will further admire the execution of the geometry in this scale—a subtle, yet impressive feat for such an atelier workshop in its period, let alone in twin rugs like so few known from this artist.
