A vintage pottery pendant lamp of fluted form with pierced circles, textured panels, hand-painted floral motifs in blue, and a distressed brass cap to the top. Probably made in portugal, in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
the form of the shade allows for a strong downlight and little outwards glare, perfect for suspending a little above eye-level over a dining table, kitchen island or preparation area. For best effect, we would recommend pairing this lamp with a large opal globe bulb, such as a g125.
the lamp has been rewired with a generous length of premium italian 3-core double insulated cable with a bold ‘old gold’ rayon woven braid.
the lamp accepts a single b22 bayonet cap.
