He regularly participated in the Venice Biennale and the Rome Quadriennale, receiving important recognition since the 1930s. His research combines formal rigor, chromatic sensitivity, and technical experimentation.
The painting is a textural abstract work. Ideally, the canvas is divided into two sections: the upper part is characterized by dark tones tending towards brown, while the lower part shows how the colors lighten with beige, cream, and yellow hues. Furthermore, the use of material and color creates an almost tactile visual experience.

The artist's signature, "L. Gaspari," is visible on the right, halfway up the painting. It is an oil on canvas measuring 61 x 28.5 cm and features the inscription "GASPARI" in pencil on the back.
