This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful Antique Sewing Box. American in Origin - Circa Mid 19th Century. It is Completely and Beautifully Hand Made With Very Nice Attention to Detail. It has a Fancy Gained Genuine Rosewood Veneer Exterior. The Top and Key Hole are Inlaid with Genuine Mother of Pearl. The Top and Front Panel also Have Inlay Pewter Stripe Accents. The Inner Tray is Made Out of Solid Rosewood. It Still Retains its Original Varnish and it Displays Beautifully. Very Minor Imperfection Noted - There is a Small Piece of the Pewter Inlay Missing at the Front Top Right Area. It Still Retains its Original Blue Paper Lined Interior and Brass Locking Mechanism but Note that it Does Not Come With the Key.
It Measures Overall Approx
