An impressive and richly detailed console table by Marge Carson, crafted in the Spanish Revival style. This elegant piece features a serpentine front, intricate carved moldings, and bold cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaf motifs. The paw-carved feet and stepped block bases provide a stately foundation.
The single drawer is accented with brass ring pulls and a decorative keyhole escutcheon, while the lower shelf is framed by a hand-wrought scrolled iron stretcher with gold-painted accents, adding both structure and visual interest.
Finished in a warm, hand-rubbed stain that enhances the natural grain of the wood, this console table brings timeless sophistication to any hallway, entry, or formal living space. Maker’s plaque present inside the drawer.
