The solid teak-colored wooden top (2.8 cm thick) rests on a sturdy black iron base, supported by four elegant brass feet — each one adjustable in height by approximately 1.5 cm to ensure perfect stability on any floor.
The table has been carefully and professionally restored, with special attention given to three deeper marks on the top surface. These have been masterfully filled and refinished, now barely visible, yet subtly preserved as a quiet tribute to the table’s long history. The legs also show signs of time, which we chose not to hide under a new coat of lacquer — we believe in honoring the character and authenticity of vintage furniture, not erasing it. The brass feet have developed a beautiful natural patina, further adding to the piece’s charm and lived-in elegance.
This table is not only aesthetically pleasing but also historically significant. A similar model was chosen by renowned Italian architect Gianfranco Frattini for his own Milanese home in the 1970s — an interior still preserved today by his daughter, who has maintained the home’s original spirit and furnishings. This connection makes the table a meaningful example of authentic Italian design heritage.
Whether placed in a modern, minimalist setting or paired with other mid-century pieces, this table adds warmth, sophistication, and a rich sense of history to any space.
