This is a footed round covered casserole dish by Rosenthal with a 1934/1935 backstamp in the Chippendale pattern with green trim. The back stamp is shown,the pattern name is marked, and it has a matching lid. I have two sets fo this item for sale.
The casserole dish measures 11.00 inches from handle to handle, and is 8 7/8 inches across the rim. The bowl rim is 3.25 inches high, and the bowl is about 2.25 inches deep. Height to the top of the handle is 6.50 inches.
The set is round with slight shaping, a purple floral design and green rims. There are two chips on the base of the bowl, and they are shown. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing and no staining. The second set has no chips on the base, but has a small chip on the underside of the lid.
