Design Plus Gallery presents a Maple Wood Blanket Chest Made by California Artist/Woodworker, John Borden. The entirety of the outside of this trunk is made of maple wood, with maple burl wood finishes as well. The precision cut piece has cedar lining for safe storage of soft linens. Is in good condition with minor wear that is consistent with minimal usage. Made in USA.

About The Artist :
John Borden is a California native first intrigued with wood working when working as an apprentice to a furniture factory in the Seattle area 40 years ago. He later worked as a finish carpenter building spiral and circular stair cases, laminating the stringer and hand turning each baluster on a lathe. John's artistic talent has exploded over the last decade and his mastery of woodworking techniques results in beautiful, one of a kind pieces
