Elevate your interior with this striking pair of antique carved pilasters representing a Caryatid and an Atlante, masterfully sculpted in solid walnut wood. Dating from around 1880, these architectural elements embody the romantic revival of classical ornamentation in the late 19th century.
This elegant pair features:
A male (Atlante) and female (Caryatid) figure, each carved in high relief
Stylized classical drapery and finely detailed anatomy
Deep walnut patina with warm natural grain
Originally intended as interior architectural decoration, possibly for a mantel, doorframe, or grand piece of furniture
