The maker is unknown and the piece is unsigned, but the craftsmanship and personality speak for themselves.

Dimensions: height 15 cm, diameter 6 cm.

The doll features a large, round head with a simple yet endearing face, painted with big black eyes, rosy cheeks, and delicate hairlines along the sides. Atop the head is a carved element resembling an acorn cap — a subtle nod to nature. What makes this kokeshi truly unique are the carved, forward-facing little hands in a cute, praying or pleading pose.

The body is slightly curved and wrapped with a decorative yellow cord finished with tassels.
