Inlaid walnut commode with marble top circa 1910 from Stockholm, Sweden.
Green and grey marble top with moulded edge and canted corners, sits removable on the main body.
Fitted with 2 drawers, 1 shallow and 1 deep. Drawer fronts profusely inlaid, cross banded and strung. Fitted with ornate ring handles. Sides in with urns around the same border, adorned with ormolu mounts on the corners. Raised on 4 tapered legs with further ormolu mounts and inlay.
No locks.
Stunning piece and fine example of Swedish cabinet making.
