It was designed by Karl Erik Ekselius for J.O. Carlsson in Sweden during the 1960s. The geometric table is made of light oak, considered a royal wood. It is a very strong and durable material characterized by rich grain. The wood is scratch- and damage-resistant and acquires a refined appearance with age. The square tabletop rests on wide, rectangular legs that curl under the tabletop. The piece is visually light and highly functional, and the arrangement of beams at different heights creates a geometric and linear expression. Although the coffee table is a decorative detail, it adds character to the entire arrangement. The original signature is on the bottom side of tabletop.


The table is in very good vintage condition. It has been refreshed. This piece has an attribution mark,
