This powerful diptych titled "Day of Yellow Hair" by acclaimed Oglala Lakota artist Daniel Long Soldier captures iconic moments of Lakota resistance during the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Presented on historic-style ledger paper, each scene is rendered in Long Soldier’s distinctive ledger art style, a form rooted in 19th-century Plains warrior documentation.
Published by The Greenwich Workshop in 2011, this set consists of two giclée prints on fine art diptych paper, both hand-signed and numbered 47/75 by the artist. The work includes vivid portrayals of warriors including Crazy Horse, Crow Dog, and others engaged in decisive acts of courage and resistance.
Includes original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and information sheet from Greenwich Workshop.
