It’s got that typical Italian flair: sharp lines, great colors, and a clever construction without shouting for attention. The brass arm has a soft curve that gives it a bit of movement, and the shade is fully adjustable. Still in its original lacquer — a mix of burgundy and deep red — with just the right amount of patina. The switch is neatly integrated in the base, and the whole lamp has a nice weight to it. It feels solid, well made — like the kind of thing you want on your desk or side table, even if you don’t really need the light on. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
