This is a green porcelain, possibly much older, pitcher from Compton Porcelain of England. It appears to be much older and has a crack in the spout as shown, plus a small stained spot at the inside rim. The Compton mark is gold and raised as shown and it is hand numbered 3191. The pitcher has pink flowers, gold trim that’s still in good shape and great shaping in the porcelain.
The pitcher measures 5.00 by 4.50 inches across the bottom, 4 5/8 by 3.50 inches across the top and is 7.25 inches tall at the spout.
I am finding almost no data about this piece or company. The mark has a 1790 date, which I’m sure is not realistic for aging this piece, but I have nothing else to go on.
There is some wear to the gold rim, especially on the bottom rim, and it does have that repaired crack and stain plus there may be some crazing in that area, but it is small and not stained.
