Extremely Rare Late 19th Century Dutch Hindeloopen Ladder Back Children's Settee
Roosje Hindeloopen is a brand of Dutch Folk Art furniture that originated in the town of Hindeloopen. The pieces were hand crafted using indigenous wood and hand painted by local artists in bright colors using classic floral motifs. This is a rare children's settee dating from the late 1800's. It is painted in a lovely shade of soft red with black, gold, cream and green flourishes. The seat is hand woven rush in a diamond pattern. Sweet ladder back with rounded arms. Just precious!
