Vintage Chinese Blue and White Ceramic Phoenix/Crane Rice Serving Jar With Lid - Set of 2
The perfect sizes for family dining! One is 7”T x 8”W , and the 2nd one is 6”T x 7”W.
This beautiful dish was originally used for serving rice and keeping it from becoming dry. Shaped to stand slightly raised and stop any heat marking to your table This would also look great as kitchen storage or canisters among your other chinoiserie items..
Very nice condition. There are no visible chips or cracks. No crazing to the glaze. As is often seen in these vintage items made in China, there are imperfections/specks in the glaze. Please see the photos. Also seen commonly in this type of Asian china is a lot of variability in the blues. The patterns on these serving dishes have some variability to them.
