Each panel curves downward at the ends to serve as a leg, and together they create a central square opening, into which a smoked glass insert is set. The result is a minimalist, archtitectural piece with a sculptural presence in style of Ake Fribyter, a refined expression of Scandinavian modernism from the seventies. The table is in a very well preserved vintage condition with only minor wear consistent its age and use. When paired with the matching rectangular version, the two can be arranged as a nesting set, with the smaller square table sliding neatly beneath the rectangular one. See less
