For Your Consideration is an Early 20th Century/Late 19th Century Carved Trumeau Mirror with Printed Inset Artwork by M. Streckenbach.
Mirror frame has hand carved details and green accents with a carved crest at top.
Inset printed artwork panel signed M. Streckenbach (Max Theodore Streckenbach, German, 1863-1936), features a still life of chrysanthemum flowers and leaves in a blue and white vase.
Mirror glass has spots of silvering loss/foxing, and clouding consistent with age.
Wire attached at back for hanging.
Delicate and sweet piece.

- This mirror is in good antique condition. It is delicate and beautiful. All signs of wear are consistent with age. … moreThis mirror is in good antique condition. It is delicate and beautiful. All signs of wear are consistent with age. Foxing, de-silvering, and clouding present on the mirror glass, definitely appears to have a "distressed" look to the glass. A plus for those who love this look. The art print has a yellow patina. Backing paper is torn and loose, showing water marks. Top right and bottom left frame corners show some separation at the miter joints but still secure. The mirror glass in a bit loose in frame but secure. All to be expected with the age on this type of piece, however, if you prefer things not show signs of wear or weathering, you may prefer another piece. less
