It is a rare piece, both decorative and historical.
The uprights of this console table taper gracefully toward the bottom, giving the piece a slender and balanced silhouette. At the top, two finely carved caryatids add a striking sculptural presence. Each is highlighted with an eye-catching gilt bronze star. At the bottom, we find small carved feet in blackened wood.
The apron drawer is adorned with a diamond-shaped keyhole. This key comes with a fully functional lock. Bronze fittings at the upper corners enrich the ensemble with refined details.
