Rare röllakan rug with beautiful star pattern in different colours. The Rug is handwoven in a classic röllakan weave with woool on linen warp, which is an ancient weaving technique that origins from the middle east. Märta Måås Fjätterström wove her rugs in the same technique and material as this. The rug measures 261 cm in length including fringes, and 166 cm wide. It is marked with AGS Woven in the carpet, as traditionally in Swedish rugs. The fringes are a bit worn, please see pictures. The fringes can be fully restored and we can arrange this if asked for, but for a €900 addition and some extra delivery time. There are some minor wear to the rug, but overall in very good condition.
