Dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries, this gorgeous pair of handcrafted Georgian earrings has a total of about 42 rose cut diamonds measuring 3.9mm to 1.2mm in diameter, with approximately 1 to 1.5 TCW of diamonds.
Beneath and around these diamonds swings a long, intricate network of leaves, branches and flowers. The diamonds in this botanical-themed drop sparkle and sparkle as the drop sways. from the center of each drop comes a larger diamond, one 3.9 mm and another 3.4 mm in diameter.
The front of the earrings has been acid tested as patinated sterling silver with a rich dark patina. Each diamond is surrounded by gorgeous sparkling silver "petals" from the bezel setting around each diamond. The earrings are 18k yellow gold (acid tested). Its yellow gold ear hooks are probably later replacements.
Foil-backed, rose-cut diamonds are designed to sparkle and sparkle in sunlight or candlelight.
