It is from the romance series 0f 2001 and titled Redbird. This was an edition from 2002 and 6/10. Only ten of these were done. There were 5 photographs in this series documented in her hard covered book of The work of Dara Freidman. She was German born and bridges mediums of film, media and photography.
Her stimulus for this series was inspired by her time spent in Rome studying at the Royal Academy of Art shortly having a baby girl named Violet. Her long enduring walks with her daughter in her baby pram was intriqued watching couples making out intensely. She then filmed them until her unguarded behavior of curiosity that was questioned by onlookers over time.
Please note; this belongs to a private collector and there will be only one small discount. This is the only one they acquired and were able to acquire back in 2005.
It says it all when you study this. The inside dimension of the photograph measured framed inside the mat is 27" W x 20" H. The frame has some slight damage to the wood.
Also there is a a crack in the plexiglass in the lower right hand corner which will not be replaced. Sold as it.
All hallmarked with labels on the back from the photographer. This needs to be trucked because of the weight of it. See less
