Extraordinary cast glass chandelier hand cut in the czech republic using the mottled sixties patterns. The chandelier is made up of a number of square cast glass components each one of which is independently suspended. The czech republic has a rich international history of glass production championed by the iconic lustry kamenicky senon glassworks. In exceptional original condition, the frame is the original brass and powdered coated metal structure and the chandelier is hung on 1m of brass chain with three core clear cable and we provide a brass ceiling hook. The chandelier weighs approximately 15kg and will require a strong mounting point. Longer chain and cable is available if required. All our lamps have been carefully restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to bs en 60598. Included: each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install the lamp is fitted with a standard e27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend led bulbs 6w maximum. Listing is for one lamp, two available when published.
