An incredible find we sourced these from a … Read more 1950's Original French Two Tone Chapel Dining Chairs - Large Quantity Available. An incredible find we sourced these from a brutalist French 1950's Chapel outside Lille, we have over 200 of these available. These are the original chairs, designed and made for the chapel. Probably made by Bauman but not confirmed, the darker frame is made from oak and the seats and back are in birch. A strong comfortable chair with a double cross stretcher frame and tidy detail where the backs are pinned to the frames. Each chair passes through our workshop where it is serviced, cleaned and waxed. Seat Height: 47cm
