A superb and sculptural ceramic piece, a starfish ashtray or trinket tray, modernist, free-form, in matte white glazed ceramic, forming a beautiful life-size starfish, with the signature "guillot" incised under a branch, by marcel guillot, vallauris, france, 1950.
this is a very beautiful, elegant, and understated piece by guillot, in the spirit of the greats.
